Application and selection procedure
Deadline for submissions extended till April 19th
The summer school will accept 15 applicants, including postdoc, PhD, and master students from the domains of health, technology and/or business, as well as people working (or willing to work) in startups, companies or public institutions and willing to learn the fundamentals of how to create and sustain innovation in the domain of analytics for healthcare. People interested in attending the summer school are asked to make an electronic submission to the address: firstname.lastname@example.org, including their CV (max 2 pages) and a letter of interest (max 1 page). The scientific committee will review the applications, and participants will be promptly notified via email. Submissions open on February 18th, 2019 and end on Avril 7th, 2019.
Students will be asked to pay a tuition fee, covering summer school registration and attendance, lunches, coffee breaks, travels to Sophia Antipolis/Valbonne, and a social dinner. Students are responsible for their travel costs (travel and accommodation to Nice, France).
- 250 € forMaster Students (please enclose a copy of a 2019 student certificate)
- 500 € forPhD students and postdocs (please enclose a copy of a 2019 student certificate for PhD students, and a certification of your Institution for postdocs)
- 700 € forprofessionals and other categories
Thanks to the support of the Université Cote d’Azur, we can offer a free registrationto 5 students (Master students, PhD students or postdocs). Please add to your letter of interest a need statement(maximum 5 lines) if you want to be considered for these grants. Please note that the grants will cover only the tuition fee. Students are responsible for their travel costs (travel and accommodation).
Call for abstracts (optional)
Students already working in the domain of analytics for healthcare are invited to submit an abstract of their work (max 200 words). Short oral presentations will be organized on the first day of the summer school. The abstracts will be published onlineon the summer school website. Please note that abstract submission is not mandatory.
