Workshop Innovation Alzheimer – Program

Created in 2011, Innovation Alzheimer (IA) is a general purpose and no-profit association (French law 1901) whose main scope is to put innovation at the service of the users, in particular of persons with Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders and persons with neuropsychiatric symptoms. IA helps and supports the CoBTeK research team (Cognition Behavior Technologies) of the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis and the CMRR (Centre Mémoire de Ressources et de Recherche) of the CHU of Nice, directed by Prof. Philippe Robert. IA is located at the Institut Claude Pompidou.

IA is the local organizer of the ISG 2016 congress. This year the annual IA workshop is part of the International Society of Gerontechnology congress held in Nice. The workshop includes 3 events:

– September 28: Recommendation for the use of serious game in neuropsychiatric disorders (expert meeting)

– September 29: Public demonstration of technological innovations CoBTeK & INRIA research group

– September 30: Memory & Motivation Day at the library Raoul Mille

Recommendation for the use of serious game in neuropsychiatric

In 2014 the team CoBTeK and IA Association published a scientific article on how to use the serious game in Alzheimer’s disease and related pathologies. This year the international congress ISG is an opportunity to update the recommendations for cognitive and behavioral disorders.

Public demonstration of technological innovations

In 2015 more than 200 seniors from the city of Nice participated to the IA workshop demo/day. This year IA workshop also includes an afternoon event for demonstrations of innovations developed by the team CoBTeK and INRIA in 2016. Presentations from participants in the international congress of the ISG are accepted on request: contact@innovation-alzheimer.fr

Memory & Motivation Day at the library Raoul Mille

This new event is organized with the Raoul Mille City of Nice Library. The aims are:

– to introduce participants use of new technologies for health and particularly to assess and stimulate cognition and motivation – to provide knowledge about brain function and new technologies – Make the link between cognition, literature and library

Program:

Morning

  • Session 1: try a standard memory training session
  • Session 2: train your memory using new technologies
  • Session 3: Motivation and physical activities using new technologies

Afternoon
